GIG HARBOR AREA YOUNG LIFE
Young Life is actively involved in our area, with programs for students from Gig Harbor and Peninsula High Schools; and all four-area middle schools.  There are several upcoming events that we wanted you to be aware of for High School and Middle School aged students.

Monday, February 1st at the Wesley Inn, Young Life is hosting Brad Henning from 6:30-9:00 p.m. for THE DIRT ON DATING.  Brad will be presenting practical, down to earth advice on dating and relationships.  Come for games, food and a great give away. 
This event is geared to eighth grade through high school, students and parents.

DR PARROTT @ HCC, SUNDAY FEBRUARY 7TH

As we continue in our current Sunday series, Love Matters, we wanted to let you know of our upcoming guest speaker, Dr. Les Parrott. You may know Les as a best selling author, he is also a clinical psychologist - presenting practical advice that is grounded, insightful and cutting-edge. We are excited to have Les at the Hope Center to not only speak, but also provide several of his books for this event.  You will not want to miss out on Sunday, February 7th.


HCC FAMILY CAMP @ MALIBU, AUGUST

Join us for a great adventure with HCC Family Camp at Malibu 2010. The FIVE days, August 18-23rd, will include lodging, activities, and great food. Although rates have not been set for 2010, we anticipate only a nominal increase and the same daily rate. To secure your family's spot today, make your deposit. These deposits are non-refundable, but transferable. HAITI UPDATE

Through your generous giving HCC has been involved in bringing relief to the people of Haiti. Because we are part of the Foursquare Church International our recources are quickly dispersed to meet immediate needs. Foursquare is uniquely positioned as a result of already being established in Haiti for 25 years. These relationships are now the building blocks that allow us to quickly reach people who need it most. Through our partnerships with first responders The Foursquare Church is already engaged in a response effort on the ground. Resources have been released to assist our national church in Haiti to minister to the greatest needs of the people at this time. The initial need for this first phase of relief is $250,000.
