STUDENT MINISTRIES @ HCCStudent Ministries in wrapping up the school year and heading toward Summer. Starting Sundays in June, Josh will be taking a look at what it means to be an adult and going back to the beginning to find out which came first, the chicken or the egg. Here is what is available for students in the next few weeks...
Young Life Concert & BBQ: Thursday, May 29th @ Hester's Beach place, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Join all high schoolers and graduating middle schoolers for a concert with Rootdown and local band AT NIGHT. $5.00 includes the concert and BBQ dinner.
Young Life Summerlife: Starting Monday July 7th, 5:00-8:00 p.m., join area high schoolers for wakeboarding, BBQ's, and worship. Summerlife continues on Monday's through August @ Hester's Beach place. Join us for this summer tradition.
The Edge: HCC is moving to expand our high school ministry, The Edge, to complement Young Life. Starting Sunday, June 22nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. through August, join us for BBQ's, wakeboarding, a talk, and worship. We are still looking for a house to host this event. Contact Josh if you are interested.

PARTNER - YOUTH FOR CHRIST
Over the past several months, we have been highlighting local
Ministry Partners. Youth for Christ Tacoma is one of those partners. One area, that you may not realize that YFC is directly involved in, is
Foster Care. Youth for Christ is a Washington State licensed foster care agency and is currently working with over 80 foster families. Tacoma YFC works to certify Christian families committed to caring for children that have been removed from their home due to neglect, abandonment, and/or physical and sexual abuse. YFC provides a support structure for Foster families in working with DSHS, as well as providing a network of families who have extended themselves to these kids. Sunday, June 15th, Father's Day, we will be having Baby Dedications during the morning services at 9:00 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. Here at HCC we believe that children are precious to God and in recognition of our love and commitment to raise our children, we dedicate babies and pray for parents.
