Spotlight
IN KIDSZONE THIS MONTH...September is not only the start of the brand new school year, but also a brand new begining for
Kids @ HCC. Starting this
Sunday, September 7th, all our kids, from birth to 5th grade will be in main building.
Nursery is in the same location, just to the back of the auditorium. The
Pre-School classes, ages 3 through 5, will now meet in the classroom next to the auditorium, where The Zone used to meet.
KIDSZONE, for Kindergarten through 5th grade will now meet in The Commons, just down from the Library. Balloons will mark the way to the new locations on Sunday! Ask a host or greeter if you have any questions on where your childs' classroom is now located. We are excited for the changes in location and look for the Kids @ HCC.
As always, our team in
KIDSZONE creatively focuses on a different virtue. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the virtue of
knowledge, discovering something new so you can be better at whatever you do.

We are also very excited about our pre-school curriculum , First Look." For these special little ones we want them to take a first look at who God is and understand...God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
During the month of September, pre-schoolers will continue to learn about the Basic Truth: God loves me. We are very excited about this new program for even our youngest kids!

One of the most important events in the life of a follower of Christ is Water Baptism. This is an opportunity for believers to make a public profession of their faith and identify themselves as followers of Christ. We encourage everyone at HCC to follow through with this important event in their lives. Our next water baptism will be at noon on Sunday, September 14th at Miracle Ranch. If you are interested in talking further about baptism or if you would like to be baptized on Sunday, September 14th
