IN KIDSZONE THIS MONTH.....
During the month of September we kicked off big changes in KidsZone, including the move to The Commons for K-5th grade, a move for the pre-school program, as well as nursery and 2 year olds. It has been great to have all our kids under one roof! Kids love the inflatable slide, games and the much-needed space for babies and school age kids!

Our challenge now is to respond to even more growth! We are starting a class just for 3 year olds, in their own room, and expanding our nursery to include a space for walkers. If you have not taken a look at the KidsZone recently, including the nursery and pre-school rooms, drop in and see all the things that Courtney Willson is doing for kids @ HCC.

Our team of in KidsZone creatively focuses on a different virtue each month. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the virtue of determination-deciding it's worth it to finish what you've started.

October 26th Halloween Zone
Kid's Kindergarten through 5th grade will have a full hour of fun, bobbing for apples, playing carnival games and of course, sporting their costume! Don't miss out on all the fun at Halloween Zone!

As you can imagine, all of these changes and the expansion of our programs means our need for helpers increases as well. If you want to be a part of making a difference in kid's lives and have fun in the process, join the KidZone Team, CLICK HERE.

Thanks Courtney for all you do for kids!

GROWTH GROUPS @ HCC

In late August, we walked through several new initiatives here at HCC. One of these initiatives is Growth Groups. After taking the Reveal Survey last year, we were once again reminded that people grow best in small communities. During the month of September, ten families committed themselves to leadership in Growth Groups. These leaders have now formed a Northern and Southern Gig Harbor Growth Groups. It is our hope that while many of you attend Sunday mornings, you would take the next step to connect in community with a Growth Group. If you are interested in meeting together, sharing and discussing the talk from Sunday morning and connecting with other families to learn and serve, join the Northern Gig Harbor Group, HERE or the Southern Gig Harbor Group HERE.

MEN'S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP, SUNDAY'S

Starting this month is a new Small Group for Men, 16 and older, looking for a deeper study and discipleship. Ron Richards, will be leading this 22 week book study through topics including prayer, quiet times, grace, ministry gifts and a great deal more. It will be fun, informal and a great time to connect with other guys on Sunday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m. For more information or to join this new Small Group for Men, CLICK HERE.

KIDSZONE TEACHER TRAINING, SUNDAY NOVEMBER 2ND
