Spotlight
In less than a month, on
November 29 and 30th, we will be leaving the auditorium vacant and reaching out to our community. This weekend will be the heart of meeting needs for individuals and families, as well as non-profit service agencies around Pierce and Kitsap County.
It is our hope to involve as many as 300 people in nearly 30 projects>.
On
Sunday, November 9th, we will be launching this effort with the ThanksMission-Compassion Weekend Fair. On this day and the following week, you can sign up for specific projects and shifts. Remember, while some of these projects involve swinging a hammer, many just need helping hands to clean toys, pack boxes or serve food.
ThanksMission – Compassion Weekend will include serving…
Rancho Milagro: Assembling Christmas packs for kids.
CareNet: Cleaning and maintenance.
Fish Food Bank: Food drive donations at area grocery stores.
Habitat for Humanity: Light construction at their warehouse facility.

ThanksMission - Compassion Weekend NEEDS
As you can imagine, each project that is part of ThanksMission-Compassion Weekend, requires some supplies, donations, or items for those in need. We have compiled a list of items that we are looking for at this time. This list will be distributed on Sunday mornings over the next few weeks. If you are aware of any potential donations from a local company, project team leads would be glad to pursue that once you provide the details. One of the best ways to give for any of the projects noted is by providing a gift card to Target, Home Depot, Lowes, Schuck's Auto Supply, Grocery Cards and others. Gift card donations will need to be made no later than November 16th to provide adequate time for purchasing necessary items. Any questions or to confirm donations and/or deliver, contact us via
E-mail:

GROWTH GROUPS @ HCC
What is a Growth Group? It is a place to meet together, share and discuss the talk from Sunday morning and connecting with other families to learn and serve. We currently have three Growth Groups that meet on Sunday nights, Gig Harbor North and Gig Harbor South and Peacock Hill. It is our hope that while many of you attend Sunday mornings, you would take the next step to connect in community with a Growth Group. For more information or to join a Growth Group,
