THANKSMISSION - COMPASSION WEEKENDThis
last weekend, November 29-30th, we left the auditorium vacant and headed into our neighborhoods to clean, to serve, to feed, to decorate, to fix and to make a difference together in our community.
From Tacoma to Purdy, Port Orchard and Gig Harbor....in homes, non-profit agencies, missions and in yards we worked together to touch families, children, the homeless and our neighbors.
The stories have been remarkable. Cash donations to Fish Food of over $2,000...food donations that were overwhelming. Wood, cut, stacked and delivered to three families. Homes repaired. Gifts wrapped. Backpacks filled for soldiers at Madigan. Cards hand made by our kids for the kids at Rancho Milagro.
The list goes on and on of
lives touched, relationships built, of gratitude and thankfulness to have served and be served over this past weekend. We have posted over 300 pictures from various ThanksMission projects in an album for you to see. Take the time to see yourself, your family and friends serving and making a difference.

FAZE3 HANGOUT DECEMBER 5TH

Join other women to sample and exchange favorite holiday appetizer recipes and a mocktail or two in December. Bring your favorite appetizer and enough copies of the recipe for everyone at your party and enjoy being with other ladies from your HCC family!

KIDS CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE @ HCC
Do you have an aspiring performer in your household?
KidsZone, directed by Courtney Willson, will be performing on
Sunday December 21st. For those kids ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, practice begins this coming
Sunday, December 7th at 9:30 a.m. in The Zone. There will be two additional practices on December 14 and 21st. If your kids are interested in being a part of this service, meet Wendy Jelinek this Sunday, December 7th at 9:30 a.m. to practice. Please note that kids must attend all practices to participate. Space is limited.
