Spotlight

THIS MONTH IN KIDSZONE...
KidsZone is the hot spot for kids, ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade @ HCC. They meet each week in The Commons for games, jumping on the inflatable slide, video worship, talks just for kids and small group. Every month our team in KidsZone, under the leadership of Courtney Willson, creatively focuses on a different virtue. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the virtue of resourcefulness...using what you have to get the job done.

For January, the memory verse is from Colossians 3:23...Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.

Our weekly focus this month includes...

January 11th
Bible Story-Proverbs 6:6-11
Bottom Line-Work hard even when no one’s watching.

January 18th
Bible Story-2 Kings 18:1-2, 5-8; 2 Chronicles 32:1-23
Bottom Line-Do your best, and trust God to do His part.

January 25th
Bible Story-Exodus 4:1-23, 27-31
Bottom Line-God gives you what you need to get the job done.

If you have kids in KidsZone, keep your eyes out for our weekly "Refrig Cards" that you put on your refrigerator at home and build on the Sunday lessons and stories.

Thanks Courtney for all you do for kids!

GROWTH GROUPS @ HCC

Taking the first step to be involved in community is never easy, but the relationships can enrich our lives beyond our expectations. Last Sunday, many of you received a Growth Group card as you came through the doors to church. Several families and individuals completed this card with their name and contact information, taking the next step to be connected in a group. Five Growth Groups have already been formed, meeting in a variety of locations from Fox Island to Gig Harbor North. It is our hope that while many of you attend Sunday mornings, you would take the next step to connect in community with a Growth Group. If you are interested in meeting together, sharing and discussing the talk from Sunday morning and connecting with other families to learn and serve, let us know. Complete a Growth Group card at the information table or email us directly at

E-mail: office@hcctoday.com.
