PROPERTY UPDATE
We are presently making good progress with the zoning approval process with the city. This past week our building committee attended the second public hearing regarding our property at Gig Harbor North, right across the street from the new YMCA.

We purchased this property one year ago and paid cash ($2.8 million) for it and are now moving forward in building our future facility at that location.

This public hearing gives everyone in our community the opportunity to either affirm the rezoning or to voice concerns. Everyone at the meeting was very positive about allowing a church to build a facility where our new property is.

The Planning Commission made a motion and voted for our church property to receive approval for a conditional use permit. This recommendation will now go to the City Council for final approval which should take place in the next 30 days.

Please continue to pray that the rezoning is approved. Once that is done then we will begin to meet with our architect to draw up site and facility plans. We hope to have something to show you by the fall.

Special thanks to our building committee: Jeff Jelinek, Rob White, Gretchen Massee, Dan Glover,  and Adrian Lugo.

Sincerely,

Gino Grunberg
