EASTER @ HCC April 12th
Plans are underway for the Easter season this year and we are excited to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the hope that we have in Him.  This year’s theme is "NEVER SAY NEVER" with the focus on the discovery that nothing is impossible for God.

Last year at HCC, we opened the doors to over 1300 people on Easter Sunday.  This year we are planning for over 1500 people to attend from our community and we have worked to find a creative solution.  That solution, this year, will be three services in two locations.

As we have done in the past, we will be having a 9:00 a.m. Easter service at Peninsula High School in the auditorium.  As always, Nursery, Pre-school classes, KidsZone and Faze3 will all be happening that morning at PHS.  Including the annual Easter Egg Hunt for all our kids.

New this year, we will be having a 10:30 a.m. Easter service at Goodman Middle School in the Commons.  This site will include the same programming for families, including Nursery, Pre-school classes, and KidsZone.  At the Goodman site, we will also be having the annual Easter Egg Hunt for all our kids.

During that same hour, 10:30 a.m., will be hosting a third service at Peninsula High School in the auditorium.  This service will also have full programming for families including Nursery, Pre-school classes, KidsZone and Faze3.  As you might expect, that includes the Easter Egg Hunt for kids as well.

We are very excited about the options for families this year on the south-end and on the north-end of Gig Harbor.  Confirming your spot it easy…simply choose the service you and your family will be attending, and send a TEXT message to 95495.  Type HCCtoday in message section and send.  You will then receive a reply that will provide you with three choices.  To RSVP on-line at hcctoday.com, CLICK HERE.

If you are interested in volunteering on Easter, at either the PHS venues at 9:00 or 10:30 a.m. or at the Goodman venue at 10:30 a.m., please let us know via email at office@hcctoday.com and we will touch base with all the details.

HOPE FOR LIFE - SENIOR PROJECT RAFFLE

One of our high school seniors, Amanda Mielke, is doing a raffle to raise money to buy a stove for the kitchen at the Mapalo orphanage. Her goal is to raise $2000, which will provide 1 of 2 stoves needed in the kitchen.  A local travel agency has generously donated a 4-day Celebrity Line Cruise leaving from any North American or Puerto Rico ports. As part of her senior project at Gig Harbor High School, she has organized this great raffle and all she needs to do is sell 100 tickets to reach her goal.  There are only 18 tickets remaining.  This is a chance for you to win a FREE cruise for 2 and help the children at the Mapalo orphanage! Tickets will be available Sunday morning at the information table.
