NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, MAY 7THThe 58th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 7, 2009. Millions of people will unite in prayer, as thousands of events will take place from coast to coast. The theme for this year is "Prayer... America's Hope" and is based on the verse from Psalm 33:22 which states: "May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you." Beth Moore will join Shirley Dobson to lead the nation in prayer on that day.
Locally, the Gig Harbor community will observe this day by participating together in the National Day of Prayer service, to be held at Peninsula Baptist Church (6127-38th Ave. NW) on Thursday, May 7, from 7 o’clock to 8:30 pm. There will be a time of worship, repentance, and prayers for our nation, led by pastors and community members. Everyone is invited. BABY DEDICATION, SUNDAY MAY 10TH
Sunday, May 10th, Mother's Day, we will be having the first of two Baby Dedications during the morning services at 10:00 a.m. Here at HCC we believe that children are precious to God and in recognition of our love and commitment to raise our children, we dedicate babies and pray for parents. MEN'S MALIBU, MAY 14-17
Spots are still available so don't miss out on an incredible opportunity to share life with other Men! Relax! The food at Malibu is world class! The camp is in full operation with water skiing, wakeboarding, ropes course, climbing wall, zip line, kayaking, basketball and swimming all available (the pool is even heated!).
