THIS MONTH IN KIDSZONE...KidsZone is the hot spot for kids, ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade @ HCC. They meet each week in The Commons for games, jumping on the inflatable slide, video worship, talks just for kids and small group. Every month our team in KidsZone, under the leadership of Courtney Willson, creatively focuses on a different virtue. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the virtue of
obedience - trusting those who lead you by doing what you're asked to do.
For May, the memory verse is from
Hebrews 13:17 - Obey your leaders. Put yourselves under their authority. They keep watch over you. They know they are accountable to God for everything they do.

MOTHER'S DAY @ HCC, SUNDAY MAY 10TH
There is a lot happening on Mother's Day this year, which you will not want to miss. Join us in celebrating Mother's Day on Sunday, May 10th. Because Mother's Day is second only to Easter when it comes to families at church on Sunday morning, we will be having two services this day at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. This Mother's Day we will be honoring moms with an award winning Kodak moment at the end of the service. Thanks to all the dad's and families who sent photos in this year.
GRADS @ HCC, SUNDAY, JUNE 7TH
It is time to plan ahead, so if you are a graduating senior from Peninsula, Gig Harbor or other area high schools, let us know. CHURCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE
HCC is participating this year in the Gig Harbor Church Co-ed Softball League, sponsored through the Peninsula Athletic Association (PAA). This league is recreation based, so the intent is to have a good time, get to know some of the players and compete against other area church teams. Registration is $15.00, open through May 15th for participant's ages 15 and older. We have spots available for up to 15 players. MEN'S MALIBU, MAY 14-17TH
Join a bunch of guys for a weekend getaway and a break from all the stuff that usually fills our days. Don't miss out on an incredible opportunity to share life with other Men! Relax! The food at Malibu is world class! The camp is in full operation with water skiing, wakeboarding, ropes course, climbing wall, zip line, kayaking, basketball and swimming all available (the pool is even heated!). The weekend is open for all men 17 years or older.

There are several activities in the next couple of weeks for students @ HCC. High School Bowling - All high school students are invited to go out for a night of food, bowling, and fun!
