THIS MONTH IN KIDSZONE...
KidsZone is the hot spot for kids ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade @ HCC. They meet each week in The Commons for games, jumping on the inflatable slide, video worship, talks just for kids and small groups. Every month our team in KidsZone, under the leadership of Courtney Willson, creatively focuses on a different virtue. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the virtue of faith: trusting in what you can’t see because of what you can see.  For June, the memory verse is Hebrews 11:1....Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 

Our weekly focus this month includes...

June 7th Bottom Line-You can believe in a God you can’t see because you can see what God has made; Matthew 6:25-34

June 14th  Bottom Line-When you see what Jesus can do, it helps you face your fears; Matthew 14:22-33

June 21st  Bottom Line-When you hear what Jesus has done, it helps you believe who Jesus is; Luke 7:18-22

June 28th  Bottom Line-When you believe in who Jesus is, you’ll live with God forever; John 3:1-16

Pre-schoolers will be learning in the month of June the basic truth that God loves me and God will teach me!  Their memory verse is Psalm 32:8, "I will teach you the way you should go.”

June 7th  Focus-The bible teaches me about God; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Joshua 1:8.

June 14th  Focus-God wants me to do what He tells me; 1 Kings 5:1-6:38; 8:22-24.

June 21st  Focus-God wants me to obey my parents; Ephesians 6:1-3.

June 28th   Focus-God wants me to tell others about Him; Luke 14:16-24.

HCC BRIEFING, SUNDAY, JUNE 7TH

Join us just after church on Sunday, June 7th for a short briefing from the HCC Leadership Team.  We will be making several announcements that you will not want to miss ... covering details for Students @ HCC, our plans for this coming fall, and information on ThanksMission - Compassion Weekend for November 2009.  Plan to stay after the service for briefing.  Childcare will be provided in The Commons.

Join us for a great adventure with HCC Family Camp at Malibu. The four days, August 15-18th, will include lodging, activities, and great food. DAD'S DAY @ HCC, SUNDAY JUNE 21ST
