THIS MONTH IN KIDSZONEKidsZone is the hot spot for kids ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade @ HCC. They meet each week in The Commons for games, jumping on the inflatable slide, video worship, talks just for kids and small groups. Every month our team in KidsZone, under the leadership of Courtney Willson, creatively focuses on a different virtue. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the virtue of
forgiveness-deciding that someone who has wronged you doesn’t have to pay.
Memory Verse- Forgive the things you are holding against one another. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13

July 12th Bible Story-Luke 19:1-10. Bottom Line-When people are forgiven, it can change them.
Summer Splash: “When I Grow Up” Day… show off what you want to be when you grow up.
July 19th Bible Story Genesis 45:1-15. Bottom Line-When you want to get even, do the opposite.
Summer Splash: Sports Day… wear attire from your favorite sport or sports team.
July 26th Bible Story- Matthew 5:1-2, 23-24. Bottom Line-Don’t wait to start making things right with others.
Summer Splash: Freaky Friday Day… dress like your parents… extra points if you can get them to dress like you!

July Summer Splash Play Days
Picnic in the Park July 8th from 12:00-2:00 at the Crescent Creek Park. Come with your mom or dad, bring a sack lunch and be ready to play some games!
Meet Mrs. Courtney on July 25th at Cinema Gig Outdoors at Skansie Brothers Park. We will watch The Tale of Desperaux. Bring your parents, a cozy blanket and chair and I will bring some treats! Movie starts at dusk.

HCC FAMILY CAMP @ MALIBU
Join us for a great adventure with HCC Family Camp at Malibu. The four days, August 15-18th, will include lodging, activities, and great food.
We have 10 rooms left for 10 famiies at $109 per person. Children 12 and under are 1/2 price. Plus boat fare. Dorm style, bunk beds, multi or single-family or same sex dorm. SUMMER EDGE
The Edge, HCC's High School Ministry, is ramping up to build community for the students at HCC. We are kicking off The Edge by having a blast wakeboarding, inner tubing, BBQ'ing, and playing games while also growing in our faith through worshipping God and hearing a biblically-based, relevant message. BAPTISM @ HCC
One of the most important events in the life of a follower of Christ is Water Baptism. This is an opportunity for believers to make a public profession of their faith and identify themselves as a follower of Christ. We encourage everyone at HCC to follow through with this important event in their lives. Our next water baptism will be Sunday, July 26th, at noon at Miracle Ranch. MomsConnect @ HCC
MOMS Connect! is coming to HCC and to the Gig Harbor community this fall at the Hope Center, Boys and Girls Club! Come be a part of an energized group of women who seek to grow in their relationships with their husbands and children as well as connecting and learning from each other.
• We invite you to come if you have children between the ages of infancy through elementary school.
• Through speakers and events, moms will gain knowledge and skills to help them be grounded and strong in themselves as well as in their roles as mother and wife.
• Meeting times will alternate between morning and evening every other Thursday and childcare will be available.
