Spotlight

Over the past few weeks, we have been walking through the series “In His IMAGE” and the 5 key factors that make up who we are.

I – Identiy – Each of us a unique creation of God. We each have different fingerprints and every human being is a “work of art” by God

M – Motivation – The things that we are passionate about are part of how God has wired us, and the goal in life is to pursue what were passionate about.

A –Abilities - All of us have God given abilities or skill sets that were good at, and need to be pursued as part of our image.

G – Gifts – The Bible teaches that every person has been given gifts to be used for the common good. You can identify your gifts through our online assessment at CLICK HERE

E – Experiences – In the words of Rick Warren, “God never wastes a hurt”. No matter what your past, God can redeem it to give others a future hope.

BAPTISM, SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH

One of the most important events in the life of a follower of Christ is Water Baptism. This is an opportunity for believers to make a public profession of their faith and identify themselves as a follower of Christ. We encourage everyone at HCC to follow through with this important event in their lives. Our next water baptism will be Sunday, September 6th, at noon at Miracle Ranch. If you are interested in talking further about baptism or if you would like to be baptized on Sunday, September 6th contact Caryn via

HCC WEEKEND ROAD TRIP, NOVEMBER 28-29

Knowing that it is important to us to roll up our sleeves and serve in tangible ways, plans are in the works for the second HCC Weekend Road Trip, November 28-29th. Over the course of these two days, we will have over 30 local, community based projects where individuals and families can serve. Projects will include all of our Ministry Partners, as well as many other organizations. In addition to working with non-profits, we are hoping to also help individuals and families in our area that are in need. If you are aware of someone who needs an extra hand, please let us know right away. Proposal forms are available and can be requested by email. We are excited about the potential for this weekend and sharing together as we work together for those in need.
