HCC WEEKEND ROAD TRIP, NOVEMBER 28-29Harbor Christian Center is excited to start preparations for this year’s “Weekend Road Trip 2009 on November 28th-29th. We have identified 29 projects and are working with a group of over 25 team leads. Read on and think through how you and your family can spend Thanksgiving weekend in serving and giving to those in our community.
- Alzheimer's Residence: Planting window boxes.
- Marrowathon: Bone marrow donation testing.
- Taking It to the Streets: Collecting sleeping bags.
- HCC Families: Yard work, minor repairs for single parents and families in need.
- NW Furniture Bank: Furniture drive.
- YMCA: Book drive, baking, making wreaths.
- Youth for Christ:
- Toy Rescue Mission: Filling gift baskets for foster kids.
- Need-A-Break: Home repairs
- Tacoma Rescue Mission: serving in one of six locations.
- Key Peninsula Community Services: Collecting food for the food bank and senior center.
- Heartbeat for Warriors: Packing backpacks and making cards for wounded soldiers.
- Franciscan Hospice: Providing Thanksgiving meals and/or assistance with home projects.
- Fish Food Bank: Collecting donations for our local food bank.
- Firefighters: Serving lunch for our local first responders.
- CareNet Gig Harbor: Providing much needed assistance at their facility.
- Rancho Milagro: Putting together Christmas boxes for the children at the orphanage in Ensenada.
- Angel Tree: Providing gifts for children in are area whose parent is in prison.

What is MOMS Connect?
MOMS Connect is a group supporting Moms with newborn through elementary school-aged children in the Gig Harbor community. Our goal is to provide a loving, supportive, and fun environment where women feel they can share ideas, seek help, receive knowledge and feel nurtured. MEN'S GROUP @ HCC
Starting October 25th, is a new
Growth Group for Men, 16 and older, looking for a deeper study and discipleship. Ron Richards, will be leading this study through topics including prayer, quiet times, grace, ministry gifts and a great deal more. It will be fun, informal and a great time to connect with other guys on
