WE'RE ON THE MOVEThis coming Sunday we will hold our last service at Peninsula High School. HCC will be moving to the Hope Center at 8502 Skansie Avenue for services starting October 25th at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. PHS has been our home for the past seven years. We have driven a Harley Davidson on stage, experienced meaningful moments and seen over 1300 people attend services at Easter to hear the message that they matter to God. The memories will live on, but as we leave this facility, I wanted to take a few moments to share my gratefulness for these past seven years.
I am grateful for the Peninsula School District for all they have done for us, for their kindness and willingness to work with our team here at HCC. The district office has been easy to work with and always ensured that we were well taken care of.
I am grateful for Mr. Tim Winters, the principal at PHS. He is a great leader in our community and has always been a positive force in support of HCC. He has served as part of our church community, as well as our advocate here at the high school. His can do attitude has been a great asset during our stay and his staff of custodians have served us tirelessly.
I’m grateful for the team of people who serve faithfully at HCC as volunteers and staff. Your vision for this church and your willingness to serve has made attending HCC a wonderful experience. Moving things in and out every week has not been easy, but your servant’s heart has been a tremendous blessing.
Lastly, I am grateful for what God has done in the lives of people, Sunday after Sunday, here at HCC. Lives have been changed, people have been delivered from self destructive lifestyles, marriages have healed and most of all, people have invited Jesus Christ into their lives and experienced his incredible grace…for that I will be eternally grateful.
Join us Sunday for our final service as we close out the “Peninsula Era” with Communion and then pack our stuff and move to the Hope Center!
Gratefully yours,
Gino Grunberg

KIDSZONE KEEPING YOUR KIDS SAFE...
Starting this Sunday, October 18th, we will be moving toward a new check in system for all of our kids programming, Nursery through fifth grade, called KidCheck. KidCheck is an enhancement to our check-in system that helps ensure no one can pick up your child without your consent. You will be able to securely create an account where you can keep your contact and your child's information current. In addition, you'll be able to create a list of authorized guardians, upload photos, and even choose to receive notifications via text messaging when your child is checked in or checked out. Click this
link to open your account today, or see Courtney in the KidsZone or Caroline in Preschool for more information.

PARKING TEAM @ THE HOPE CENTER
In our move to the Hope Center, parking will be our biggest challenge. While at the Hope Center there is plenty of parking, finding your spot can be a bit of a challenge. We have brought on board, Cal Glomstad to help coordinate a volunteer team to assist with parking! You will have several options on Sunday mornings for parking and there will plenty of signs and people to direct you where you need to go. There is limited parking available on site for individuals with special access needs. There is parking available on the street, at Henderson Bay High School and as part of the HIKER'S CLUB parking at Gig Harbor High School. The walk for the Hiker's Club is only 4 minutes!
If you are interested in joining the parking team and working with Cal, contact us via email at office@hcctoday.com
FAZE3 MIDDLE SCHOOL UPDATE
Thanks for checking out the Faze3 update. With the school year starting back up we have seen an increase of youth in our services. With this positive growth in these down economic times I would like to offer a way for you to "enrich" the lives of some of our Faze3 Youth. We are looking to bring on some more people to join with us in our mission to teach the Bible to the kids while diving deeper into what the Bible has for our lives at the same time.
If this peaks your interest and you think you can get behind the idea of impacting the future of one of our HCC youth then please contact me! We currently have openings for a couple small group leaders, both for the guys and girls, that meet every other week.
If you just want to know more about what Faze3 is on the brink of, what our mission is, what our goals are, who I am or if your a Parent that wants the 411, give me a call or send me an email--Jason!
