Spotlight
WHAT'S HAPPENING IN KIDSZONE @ HCCKIDSZONE is the hot spot for kids ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade @ HCC. They meet each week upstairs in the Hope Center, playing games, watching and singing to video worship and hearing talks just for kids. Every month our team in KidsZone, under the leadership of Courtney & Rusty Willson, creatively focuses on a different virtue. This month our activities, songs, games and lessons focus on the
virtue of honesty, choosing to be truthful in whatever you say and do. The memory verse is from Proverbs 12:22, “The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.”
Our weekly focus this month includes:
March 7th
Bible Story- Genesis 37:17b-36; 45:25-28
Bottom Line-When you’re not truthful, you hurt the people you should care about most.
March 14th
Bible Story- Esther 3; 4:8b, 5-610; 7:1-6, 9b-10
Bottom Line-Lying to hurt someone else really hurts YOU.
March 21st
Bible Story-Luke 19:1-10
Bottom Line-Truthfulness builds friendship; dishonesty tears them down.
March 28th
Bible Story-John 12:3-6; Matthew 26:14-16, 20-25, 47-50; 27:1-5
Bottom Line-You can lie so much you forget what matters.
Thanks Courtney and Rusty for all that you do for KidsZone!

MEXICO MISSION, JULY 9-17
It’s Mexico Time again! We are celebrating our 10th year of serving at a small orphanage just outside of Ensenada, Mexico. We get to spend one week loving and taking care of a group of abandoned and abused children that have become a part of our HCC family.
This year, in addition to working at the orphanage, we are going to serve some individual local families by working on their houses; replacing a roof, painting the outside, cleaning up what we can. The best part of what we are planning, is the kids at the orphanage will be serving right alongside of us. We need not only people that work well with kids, but also people who have the skills to do construction, plumbing, electric work, etc.
Our first informational meeting will be Sunday, March 14th, just after the second service. CLICK HERE to RSVP. Plan to attend for more information or contact our team via email.
